How do we start having a relationship with God? God's Word says that “If you openly say, “Jesus is Lord” and believe in your heart that God raised him from death, you will be saved.” (Romans 10:9). Deciding to trust and follow Jesus is like a wedding, where you say vows that express your heart. You can pray like this: “Father, I admit that my mistrust and sin separate me from you and your kingdom. So, I want to turn from my self-centeredness to follow Jesus as my life-leader. I trust you to restore my relationship with you by absorbing my sin, and by giving me your Spirit to love you and others.” Is there anything keeping you from praying this now?
